I did it! First time making a Star design and it came out pretty great. Next time I’ll probably open up some of the folds to make sure the ink can penetrate more of those hidden white spaces but otherwise I’m very happy with the turn out.

Since moving to NY I’ve been trying to figure alot out, mainly how/when/where I’ll paint and dye bc it can be so messy and can damage surfaces permanently.

As I’m writing this I just walked by a man who’s using a blowtorch on his stoop. A few months ago I saw another man welding! With this in mind I took my practice to the streets as well. Creating a little dye set up in the street between parked cars. It was trial and error as I went but again just proud that I got out there and tried.
